Social Science Research Skills

This LibGuide is intended to support students' work on literature reviews for courses in Sociology/Anthropology and Political Science.

Additional Resources

Many librarians in many institutions are helping undergraduate and graduate students prepare literature reviews. I'd like to share their work with you here. These are some of the best resources I use when I teach about lit reviews. Of course, you can find further reading by Googling, but I think you will have plenty to work with right here.

Further Reading

We even have some entire books that provide more in-depth descriptions and suggestions on writing lit reviews in the social sciences. Here are a few I recommend if you'd like further guidance at your own pace.
