While you won't necessarily find your topic covered here, if you do find it, you'll find a GOLDMINE of scholarly sources! Annual Reviews are article-length literature reviews of a particular topic, as if someone said, "OK, I'll write about everything that has been written about this topic in my field up until now." Remember to refine your search so that you are only using the Annual Review of the field you are studying (refine by Publication), e.g., Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology, or Political Science.
Citation Tracking
Use Google Scholar or Scopus to find additional articles based on the article you've found.
- Google Scholar You can explore other articles that have cited one you like by clicking on the "cited by" link under the article snippet.
- SCOPUS This link opens in a new window Scopus might look a little different from the EBSCO databases, but don't count it out! Scopus contains thousands of journal articles and covers the social sciences well. What's more is that you can do citation tracking here like in Google Scholar - find out who has cited the article since it was published AND click easily to everything in the article's bibliography too.
