Free Local Testing and Treatment for STDs/STIs (including HIV)

There are several organizations with San Antonio locations where you can get tested for various sexually transmitted diseases and infections (STDs and STIs). You do not need parental consent or knowledge if you are 16 years or older.

The most common STDs/STIs tested for are gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, HIV, and hepatitis.

Below are three local organizations that will not only test for these STDs and STIs for FREE, but also, if your results are "reactive" (aka, positive), they will begin you on FREE treatment immediately, usually within 1-4 business days.

San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF)
Starting in 2023, Trinity is partnering with SAAF to bring their mobile testing unit to campus on a monthly basis to offer FREE HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea testing to students.
Kind Clinic
Kind Clinic is a program of Texas Health Action which provides sexual health services in a safe, supportive, judgment-free, and culturally affirming environment with expertise in serving the LGBTQIA+ community.
Kind provides PrEP, PEP, STI Testing & Treatment, HIV Testing & Care and Gender Affirming Care through both virtual care and clinics in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.
BEAT AIDS
B.E.A.T. AIDS stands for "Black Effort Against the Threat of AIDS." Be assured that they welcome students of every race and ethnicity. BEAT has recently opened a new clinic for HIV/AIDS testing and treatment about 2 miles from campus, accessible by car or public bus:
