We have access to full-text articles from ScienceDirect via Interlibrary Loan, Pay-Per-View, and a few subscriptions.

There are two ways to access ScienceDirect articles for faculty:

1. Submit a request via Interlibrary Loan. LESS COSTLY - GOOD OPTION IF YOU CAN WAIT 1-2 DAYS.

2. Request a ScienceDirect account linked to our Pay-per-View deposit account by contacting Jane Costanza (jcostanz@trinity.edu). Using this account will enable downloading of PDF's directly from Sciencedirect. The charge for this is $26 per article. The library will pay the fee on behalf of Trinity faculty & staff but we ask that you only request articles needed for your research. QUICKEST - BEST OPTION IF YOU NEED IT RIGHT AWAY.

IMPORTANT: Please SAVE the pdf of the article you downloaded from ScienceDirect. Every download results in a $26 charge to Coates Library - even if it's the same article you recently downloaded.

To access a ScienceDirect article please submit a request to Interlibrary Loan.

How to download an article:

1. Register for a special pay-per-view account by contacting Jane Costanza, jcostanz@trinity.edu. 

2. Sign in to ScienceDirect using this account. IMPORTANT: if you are using a password service you may need to delete and then reenter the last digit of your password so that the continue button activates.

3. Click on the BUILDING ICON and click on CHANGE ORGANIZATION.

4. Click on TRINITY UNIVERSITY, FACULTY

5. Click on VIEW PDF to download the article
