Some of the resources on this guide are different from others you may have worked with in other classes. How should you cite data obtained from Statista, for example? Remember, Statista visualizes data obtained from other sources, so you need to cite both the original source and the database in which you found it. Here's a Statista citation in MLA style:
"Readership of Marvel’s Black Panther Comics in the United States as of February 2018, by Ethnicity." YouGov, Sept. 2017. Statista, https://www.statista.com/statistics/807431/read-black-panther-comics-ethnicity. Accessed 4 May 2021.
Here's an example of an app citation. Generally speaking, you need to give your reader enough information that she can either find your source herself or, since apps are frequently updated, identify the version you're commenting on.
Mojang. Minecraft. iOS app, version 1.16.221, 22 Apr. 2021, https://apps.apple.com/us/app/crossy-road/id924373886. Accessed 4 May 2021.
