The two databases in the box to the right will likely allow you to find all you need for this assignment. But what do you do if you'd like to find a good sociology database, or something in business journals about corporate ethics? Go to the Databases A-Z main page and click on the subject for which you'd like to find another database.
Journal databases
Our most comprehensive index to religion journals and the best place to start; also indexes essays that appear in books. Doesn't contain a large percentage of full-text articles, but Trinity does have access to print and electronic versions of many of the journals. Note that if the citation is to an essay, you should look up the book title in our catalog, not the essay title; don't use the TOUR link (it only works for journals); and if the citation is a book, also look up the book title in our catalog. Interdisciplinary index to several thousand academic journals and popular periodicals, much of it in full text. NOTE: Both of these databases have a check-box to limit your search to "scholarly (peer reviewed) journals." This is mostly, but not absolutely effective! Some peer reviewed journals include nonscholarly things in them: letters to the editor, news, etc. You still need to evaluate your article to make sure it is indeed scholarly. Not sure about how?
