Online Religion Journals

You'll find many links to online versions of religion journals in the databases mentioned under that tab. However, if you'd like to browse a long list of the titles we receive online, follow these steps:

1. Go to the library's Journal Finder.

2. Click on the Journals by Subjects tab at the top of the next screen.

3. Choose "Philosophy and Religion" from the drop-down list.

3. Click on any of the categories displayed on the screen to browse titles.

Religion Periodicals

PLEASE NOTE that a large number of our printed journals have been replaced by their online versions, so you'll find the most information by using our Journal Finder (see above).Students will usually find significantly more content by searching a journal database, such as the ATLA Religion Database, as opposed to browsing the shelves in the journals section. However, sometimes browsing can be valuable for understanding the scholarly conversation happening at a particular time.

Current print issues of religion journals are found on the third floor in the Current Periodicals area between call numbers BL and BX.

Older issues are typically bound in volumes and shelved by these same call numbers in the Compact Shelving on the first floor.
