Learn TUgether, Grow TUgether is a program designed to bring the Trinity community together around an important theme and conversation: loneliness and the power of social connection.
What changed for 2024?
The Learn TUgether, Grow TUgether program is a iteration of Reading TUgether (or Common Read) with a focus on access and equity of the text or medium. For its pilot year, we chose a freely available podcast House Calls by Dr. Vivek Murthy. The committee selected Murthy based on his expertise and experience with public health issues including loneliness and the power of social connection. He published his findings on loneliness in 2020. In June 2022 he started the podcast House Calls to "explore the uncertainties of life and how to find meaning and joy along the way."
