What is Digital Humanities?
The use of technology to explore traditional humanities disciplines like art, music, architecture, and literature. An example would be reviewing a text and assessing the number of times a word appears using a computer or device.

- Standford Encyclopedia of PhilosophyThis is a great example of preservation and access that has been in the works since 1995.
