Borrow & Renew (Students)

Loan periods, online renewals, recalls, holds, and fees—at a glance. Bring your Trinity ID.

  • Books, gov docs, printed music: due at end of semester/term • 1 online renewal if no holds/recalls.
  • Media (DVDs, etc.): 14 days2 online renewals if no holds/recalls.
  • Reserves: usually 2 hours (some 4 hours); Blu-ray/DVD drives 3 daysno e-renewals.
  • Recalls: any item can be recalled; new due date is 4 days from the recall notice—return promptly.
  • Renew online in the Library Catalog (My Library Account) unless there’s a hold or recall.
  • Holds/Requests: use Request in the catalog; pickup window 14 days.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL): due dates set by lender; request renewals through ILLiad.
