Meet with a Librarian (No Judgment, Just Help)

AI can brainstorm, but it doesn’t know your professor’s expectations—or what counts as credible in your field. That’s where we come in. A quick 1:1 with a librarian is normal, smart, and often recommended by professors (71% of students said they came because a professor suggested it).

Students tell us the most valuable parts are:

  • Talking through ideas out loud
  • Making sense of the class assignment
  • Feeling seen and heard in the process

Bring whatever you’ve got—a half-formed topic, a stuck search, a messy pile of tabs, or AI output you want to sanity-check. We’ll meet you where you are and leave you with concrete next steps (78% of students leave with a clearer idea of what to do next).

What we’ll work on together:

  • Clarifying your topic and research question
  • Picking the best databases & search strategies
  • Using AI thoughtfully (prompts, verification, citation)
  • Finding full text/data and managing sources
  • Leaving with a simple plan you can actually follow

Prefer virtual or a small group? Totally fine—bring your draft, rubric, or AI results and we’ll dive in together.
