National Center for Education Statistics
NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.

National Center for Health Statistics
The Nation’s principal health statistics agency, NCHS compiles statistical information to guide actions and policies to improve the health of the public. For basic vital data--births, deaths, marriages, etc.--try the National Vital Statistics System.

National Historical Geographic Information System
The National Historical Geographic Information System (NHGIS) provides, free of charge, aggregate census data and GIS-compatible boundary files for the United States between 1790 and 2000.

U.S. Census Bureau Tables An interactive feature of the U.S. Census Bureau website, the Tables feature lets you build custom data tables of Census data. You can export the data to Excel for further manipulation as well.
