    Finding Books

Books can provide a comprehensive overview of your topic by pointing you towards key ideas, arguments, and thinkers.  Scan the index, the table of contents, find the most relevant chapter.  Use the bibliography for more leads.

    • Library Catalog
Search the Library Catalog by keyword. The new catalog has Quick Search and Classic Search options.
    • Library Catalog: Advanced Search
If you'd like even more control over your search, try the new catalog's Advanced Search interface.
    • WorldCat
WorldCat is a catalog of library holdings worldwide. When Trinity doesn't have a book you need, you can send an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request straight from WorldCat. Some may prefer the free WorldCat interface.

    Interlibrary Loan

You can order books or articles the library does NOT own through:

Plan ahead and order early.  This is a FREE service.

    • For Books, allow 1 - 4 weeks.
    • For Articles, allow 3-4 days.
