How to renew your library materials

To renew your Trinity library items, direct your Web browser to the Library Catalog, and click on either “My Account” (in the lower right of the screen) or on "Login" (upper right of the screen), then follow the log-on instructions that appear.  (Or, go directly to the My Account log-on screen by clicking here.)  NOTE:  Upon reaching the My Account log-in screen, Trinity faculty, staff, and students should use the "Trinity Users" window.  All off-campus borrowers (Tex-Share, Researchers, Associates, etc.) should use the "Non-Trinity Users" window, and should use their last name and their borrower card barcode number (entered without spaces) as their log-in information.

You’ll then be able to see your Library account, including charged items and their due dates and any fines/fees already accrued*, and renew items that have not reached their renewal limit.

Please note that we do not offer renewals over the phone.

Alternately, you may wish to bring your currently charged items to the circulation desk and request that they be discharged and checked back out to you.  This procedure has the advantage of resetting the limit on the items’ renewals.  Please note, however, that if an item has an outstanding hold or recall request, we cannot check it back out to you.  Additionally, all returned items marked as “billed” must be processed to remove the lost/billed status and to remove any related fines and fees (if appropriate) before being checked back out to any patron.

Please feel free to call the circulation desk at (210) 999-8127 if you have questions.

*Please note that overdues fines will not yet be shown for books that are overdue but currently still checked out.  This is because the library's circulation software does not apply overdue fines until items are returned.
