Background information

There are at least three good sources for basic background information:

Wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org)

Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) -- in the library's Reference Stacks on the third floor:  REF RS 75 P5 62nd ed. 2008
A "lite" but very useful web version of the PDR is available at www.pdrhealth.com.

Websites for specific drugs, linked from the Humana Top 50 Drugs for 2007 list provided by Dr. Blystone.
