An online map-maker which includes basemaps, a wide selection of searchable layers, query creation, and a presentation tool.

ArcGIS Explorer Download
A free, downloadable digital globe, compatible with GIS data formats and .kml files. Offers some tools for spatial analysis.

National Atlas of the United States
Includes a number of interactive map viewers.
