Trade Press Databases

 

Lexis-Nexis Academic

To search Advertising Age,  click on the Sources tab, then use the Find a Source option on the right to search for Advertising Age.  Select the title from the list ('Advertising Age"), then click 'OK-continue.' Now, click the Natural Language button and try your search terms. Use the "All Available Dates" menu to select 'previous year.' Export to RefWorks using the 'book' icon--'Export Bibliographic References.'

Communication & Mass Media Complete
To search Advertising Age,  click on the Publications link, then search for  Advertising Age, then choose the 'Search Within This Publication' option for the terms specified in your assignment. 

Use Business to search by company name, then use the menu on the left to view
'In the News' for trade press coverage of that company.
